Mirror mode:
Hold X + Y + Z when selecting a track. The phrase "mirror mode" will appear on the left side of the screen to confirm correct code entry.

Race with the Daytona Super Car:
Hold R + X + Y + Z, then press C to select the game mode at the main menu. The original Daytona USA Blue Hornet car modified to five stars in every category will be selectable. This car is normally available only after all five tracks are finished in first place in normal mode.

Race with Uma:
Hold L + X + Z, then press C to select the game mode at the main menu. This horse is normally available only after all five tracks are finished in first place in hard mode.

Race with Uma 2:
Hold L + R + Y + Z, then press A to select the game mode at the main menu. This horse is normally available only after all five tracks are finished in first place in normal mode with the Uma.

Alternate vehicle codes:
At the main menu hold X + Y + Z + R, and select a game mode with A to race with the Daytona Super Car. After this code is enabled, return to the main menu. Press X + Z + L, and select a game mode with A to race with the Uma horse. After this code is enabled, return to the main menu. Press X + Z + L + R and select a game mode with A to race with the Uma 2 horse.

No CPU cars (NetLink mode):
Highlight a track and hold X + L.

Turbo start:
Hold B and press C at the starting grid of the Advanced or Expert courses. Keep the RPMs between 6500 and 7000. When the race begins, release B but keep C held.

Jeffrey statue poses:
Approach the statue of Jeffrey on the expert track. Press X rapidly to make the statue turn and stand in its head. This may also be accomplished by racing the Sea-Side Street Galaxy backwards.

Replay options:
Press the following buttons during a replay to activate the corresponding effect.

Zoom closer when chase car view is active
Press X or Z.

Toggle dashboard
Press Y.

Toggle wide angle view
Press A.

Toggle chase car view
Press B.

Toggle helicopter view
Press C.
