Edit opposing team:
Elect to play as the home team. Use controller two on the screen that appears before the face-off to edit the other team.

Quick game:
Hold A + C and power on the Genesis. Release the buttons after the "Edit Lines" screen appears. Each period will only last thirty seconds.

Select CPU goalie:
Hold A + B and power on the Genesis. Release the buttons when the "Stevens/Yzerman" screen fades. Use controller two to select the CPU goalie at the screen that appears before the face-off. Note: Selecting no goalie and will leave the opposing goal defenseless.

Instant health:
Call a time out when a player is injured. He will be restored to full health when game play resumes. Note: This may only be done once per game.
